Trees cast welcoming shade; rocks and boulders lie scattered around. Tall mounds of sand and gravel reveal the activity of a gravel works. Next to it is the gargantuan cone of rock debris left by the Randa landslide that devastated a large stretch of the valley in 1991. Miraculously, no one was hurt.
